Elie is Three Months!!

What another wonderful month it has been!! Our little lady continues to amaze us and we fall more in love with her every day!! She is the SWEETEST baby I have ever laid eyes on, and except for some screaming freak-outs in the car, she is basically perfect. She loves to watch her brother play and smiles at him all the time. She wakes up each morning with a smile on her face and loves to coo and giggle at us. She sleeps through the night, naps a lot during the day, and loves to be outdoors just like her brother. What a lucky family we are!

Our First Family Trip to Sunriver!!

We just got back from beautiful Sunriver, where we took our first official family vacation. Gaga, Rick, Moo and Chelsea also joined us and we had such a wonderful time. Jack keeps saying "My go back to my Sunriver house"....looks like this will definitely have to be an annual tradition. We spent time on the bikes, played some golf, went fishing, swimming, hiking, and of course I had to take my boy to Goody's for ice cream!!! Other than a few sleepless nights, a puke in the car on the way home, gaga falling off her bike and hurting her arm, and me slipping down a trail and breaking yet another camera (Deb's), it was an amazing trip!!!

We had quite a week last week.....dad (aka Tyee) was out of town for a few days for business so it was mama and the kiddos! Thank god auntie Moo and Chelsea came to help me out.......the kids were actually really good. Jack is SOOO good with his baby sister and we hope it lasts for a long time. We finished the long weekend off with Tyee back (thank god) and a long hike in Forest Park as a family and a wonderful dinner done Tyee-style....lobster risotto, fresh caprese salad from the garden and poached pears over ice cream for dessert. Wow...I am a lucky ducky :>.
