My favorite subject to blog about has been under the weather this week, so we did not spend lots of time in our usual photo shoots. After a few days of a bad cold, Jack started to show his true colors again today with LOTS of energy and spunk. He is now able to commando crawl anywhere he wants to go. He is also set on waving "Hi" and "Bye" to every person he sees!! It's pretty sweet. Grammie Deb...this cowboy is for you!!!

Skills, Skills, Skills
The down side to Jack having a mom as an OT is I am really into practicing our self-feeding skills, fine motor skills (he doesn't have a pincer quite yet!), and gross motor skills (standing with help, not quite crawling yet). Tyee rounds Jack out with the intellectual stimulation and gardening beginnings. The adorable Einstein t-shirt and sandals are compliments of Jack's Grampa John and Claire who are down in Ashland but constantly send Jack love and gifts.

A Beautiful Day on the Mountain
For the first time this winter we had the opportunity to go up to Mt. Hood for some snowshoeing. Jack was a trooper as usual, and as you can tell he is able to sleep most anywhere! Hopefully this was the first of many adventures for us as a family up on Mt. Hood.

Water Dog Jack!
jack had his first day of Aquaduck "swim" lessons today!! It was his first time in a pool and he did so great!! He had a huge smile on his face the entire time and by the end of the class he was sticking his face in the water and taking huge drinks!! I think we definitely have a water baby on our hands, which makes me very happy!!

Good times...more good times.....bad times
Jack started off the day with one of his favorite people in the world....his grammie!!! We got to have lunch with her and then go to our cousins' basketball game. Jack didn't want to share his grammie with anyone I guess, and was sort of confused when we sat next to someone that looked like grammie (our aunt Marnie:>). He bounced back, but then had an afternoon full of teething unfortunately. All in all, we are so blessed to have such a social and wonderful baby.

My First Superbowl
Jack enjoyed a day just hanging out with his dad, learning the rules of football and cheering for the Patriots....even though his mom did not care who won!!! Tyee and Jack had such a great day together I am thinking he might need to become the stay at home dad :>

I Love My Snoots
Jack loves to lay around and give our dog Sophie lots of love, tugs, and screeches in her ear. She is so wonderful with him...they will be tight as Jack grows up!
We went to the toy store and bought some new musical instruments in the hope that Jack can create some rhythm and musical talent that is not passed down from his mom and dad!!
