This past weekend I had 2 days full of class...it was a wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about spinal cord injury and an opportunity for Tyee and Jack to spend lots of alone time together. Of course they had soooo much fun, no fussing or tantrums, just 2 days packed with fun. They shopped, cooked, played, and laughed. I am so thankful they do so well together and I never even think twice about leaving Jack with his dad. Thanks again babe!

Big Weekend
We had a very fun filled weekend with a visit from Jack's Grandpa John and John's wife Claire. We took Jack to the zoo and he got to meet Sumudra, the new baby elephant and had his first bites of an elephant ear. We spent lots of quality time together reading books, playing, and eating ribs!! Yes, my son is a huge carnivore and the large rib bone he is holding was more for the picture, I swear. I don't let him eat ribs like that!! Jack is turning into quite the little man.

A week of fun with Mom and Dad
Both Tyee and I were able to take the entire week off last week and just stuck around Portland with our babes. It was a great time for us to do lots of different activities with Jack. We had a couple of trips to the Children's Museum of course, a trip to Mimosa studios to paint ceramics, and a play morning at this place called Out of This World. Jack had his first experience climbing on a mini rock wall. This week was definitely a transition with back to work and Jack back at "school" for a couple of days....he was not a happy boy :<
