Happy 60th Birthday Grammie Deb!!

Today is a very special day....our Deb's 60th birthday! We are so sad we could not be in Ojai to celebrate now, but we will definitely be celebrating later. We made a video that is on YouTube and its not uploading to the blog! So we will just have to wait and sing for her in person. Thank you Deb for being such a special and huge part of our lives.

Playing with Friends!

We had a fun time with friends this past week. We played with baby Ethan (my friend Steph's adorable son!) and then met up with some of my old friends from high school. It was so great to see my friends Marcie and Nicole and their adorable kids. Jack was a rock star with everyone!

So I am going to have to give Jack some new material after this one.....no more solo shoutouts for just aunite moo and chelsea. Please forgive my son's disheveled appearance....he had just waken up from a late afternoon nap and tried on his new "dress" shoes from his grammie.

Weekend

We had a great weekend. My mom and dad had sleepovers with Jack and his cousin Mia, and Tyee and I went to the Oregon football game. The ducks won, and the day was gorgeous! This late fall weather has been amazing and Jack has been so happy.

Rain Rain Go Away!!

Yah....I think we are dreaming with that one.....we will just have to adjust to playing out in the rain!

Lots to catch up!!!

We had a busy, but great week last week with two wonderful visitors! First, jack was graced by the presence of his great-grandmother, Louise (Tyee's grandma) and then his grammie Deb. He was a pretty silly guy with all this love and attention.

We Love our Monkey Man!!

We had such a great Halloween this year...Jack actually LOVED wearing his monkey costume and even did his "ooo eee" sounds while it was on. Unfortunately, we started the day off at the dermatologist's office, but I decided that should not stop us from wearing the costume..I mean who cares if its the doctor's office!! Jack was very well received, and I swear I did not purposefully bring a banana for him to eat as part of the costume..its just what he likes to eat every day.


We then proceeded to head over to my aunt Marnie's and uncle Andy's for Halloween party with all the cousins. Jack did his first trick-or-treat in which he chose a thing of Whoppers, then went to the next house and dropped the treat into the neighbor's bowl instead of taking another one....so funny!! I bet that's the last time he gives candy away! We had the pleasure of Tyee's grandmother attend all the festivities with us, she is such an amazing trooper! Jack got some great time to get to know his Great-Grammie (or g-g as we will call her).
