Wicked

For once....no post about Jack!! Tyee and I enjoyed a fabulous date night with four other couple friends on Saturday night. We had such a great time.....a wonderful dinner out and then the Broadway show "Wicked". We are so lucky to have great friends to spend time with, even if it is just once a year or so now that we all have kiddos!

The Beach

Our cousins invited Jack, Meg and I down to Cannon Beach for the day and boy did we have a blast! Although it doesn't really look like it, it was actually quite nice weather. No wind and pretty warm. Jack had such a wonderful time. He must have run to the ocean and back at least 150 times, so much that we had to take turns running with him. His preggo mom was tiring out quickly, so luckily auntie moo and my cousins stepped in. I am so grateful to have such a fun and loving extended family that we are close to!

Silly Boy

Jack LOVES to color with markers, and of course they always end up on his hands and face. He decided to color his nose yellow and then Meg and I were laughing and decided to add some more "face paint".

We also had a great weekend filled with lots of family time and watching college basketball, OF COURSE. We will be rooting on the Zags this Thursday in the the Sweet Sixteen.

The week

Just some random pics of our week so far....we had the opportunity to hang out with our friend Lindsay's new boyfriend, Jonathan and he was a blast!! We celebrated St. Pats day, baby style, and then have just spent some time being silly.

Look who stopped by this morning....

Pa decided to stop by early this morning and show us his latest catch!!! A huge salmon right fresh from the river!! Jack was pretty interested, but definitely kept his distance. He thinks his Pa is quite a stud and can't wait to go fishing with him soon.

We also had to party this morning in the new Australia t-shirt and New Zealand rugby ball Auntie Moo brought back from her travels. We are so happy to have her home safe and sound.

Brady and Jack

We made a visit over Mt. Hood to our great friends the Muilenburgs. We wanted to meet baby Drew and hang with the rest of the fam. We had a fabulous time and as usual Andy and Ali were such wonderful hosts. My little man, nicknamed "Scrapper Jack" felt the need to literally pick on Brady the entire weekend. After some bites, hits, slaps and such, Jack had more than a couple of time-outs. Overall, the boys did very well and baby Drew was adorable and perfect....I am hoping he will pass some good baby vibes to our little munchkin to be. Thanks again Ali and Andy!! First Haircut!!!

Well, my beautiful boy's long locks had to get trim.....they were becoming a bit unmanageable. We went to this great place in Bend called Sprouts, that was recommended by a couple of friends. Jack was scaredy and cried at first, but quickly became distracted with mom, dad and bubbles. There was a TON of hair on the floor after it was all said and done...Jack looks like a whole new boy to us. Of course we had to head to Goody's sweet shop downtown for treats afterwards!!
