Great Weekend

We had such a fun 3 day weekend! Saturday we celebrated our friend Amy's upcoming baby with all the fams and then Sunday we headed to the beach for the day with the Muilenburgs. Jack topped off his fun weekend with his first sleepover at "moo's new apartment" (as he calls it).

BIG Haircut

The pictures speak for themselves.....we are still in a little bit of shock, but Jack needed a new summer do.

Outside Playtime

The new "Froggie" water feature at our neighborhood park opened this past weekend, and Jack LOVED it!! We stayed there for almost 2 hours and he had a permanent smile on his face. Then we played in the new sand/rock box that Tyee built for Jack and stayed outside, pretty much for 2 straight days.....the terrible twos seem to melt away when we are outdoors......I think we should move to Arizona for the winters around here :>

My Boys

What a special Mother's Day it was...just what I wanted! I woke up to a beautiful card, coffee, and muffin from my favorite place. I got some alone time and time with the boys....it was great. I am also so grateful for the double BOB jogger stroller Tyee got me for this summer when little missy arrives.....we can't live unless we are outside (at least Jack can't) and this will allow me to take both kids running!!! I can't quite remember my life before this family......and the majority of the time, that is fine with me!!

Oh to be 2 again

Babymoon

I don't think we even had one of these before Jack was born, but since our wonderful Grammie Deb, or GaGa, came up for a a few days, we took full advantage of getting away for the weekend before babe #2 comes. Tyee and I spent 2, YES 2, whole nights by ourselves at Ocean Lodge in Cannon Beach. Amazingly, the weather was great 2 of the 3 days and we just enjoyed our time together SOO much. Good food, good walks, good talks and lots of laughs. Thank you SOO much to Deb for taking such great care of Jack all weekend! He misses his GaGa to bits today!!!
