This week was so gorgeous and my outdoor boy was so happy in his element. He absolutely loves being outside... for 8 hours in a row if we would let him! It gave me a glimpse into this summer, and made me happy to think that with a new babe, Jack will be easily entertained outdoors.

Reunion Weekend
Jack and I traveled up north to my old stompin grounds of Tacoma to visit UPS and some of my best girls and their hubbies and babies!! We had the pleasure of staying at Kam and Mike's house with their adorbale girls, Grace and Gabi. Then Bethie and Naveen came up from San Fran and we met the Eli man who is SOOOOOO cute and sweet. We also got Steph, Trav and Ethan from Portland and Jeff and Shell came down for the evening before Shelly is about to pop out her first boy!! We had a short, but wonderful, visit. The get togethers are QUITE different from those we used to have at 917 N Alder, but we still had a blast. It was so great to see the wonderful moms my best friends have become! I even went to the UPS bookstore to buy Jack his first piece of official Logger gear, and it was closed....maybe next time!

Easter
Due to the rain, we moved our first annual Harpster egg hunt indoors on Sunday. Jack was a bit confused at first, but after he found his first egg, opened it, a jelly bean fell out, and he was ALL over it!! So serious about the hunt, in fact, that he could not be bothered with pictures. He did not really care for any of the other Easter gifts, just the jelly beans! It was honestly scary how intense he was about them! All in all, we had a wonderful and beautiful Easter with mass and dinner at my cousin Amy's house. It was wonderful food and company, and we even got a shot of my gramps with 12 of his 13 great-grandkids!! Pretty amazing.

Farm, Zoo and more.....oh my!
We spent a beautiful weekend outdoors, of course!!! We visited my grandmother for her birthday and Jack got to run around on the farm with his Pa. He was actually a little tentative around the tractors, which we read about EVERY single night, so I was a bit surprised. He eased into it though, and will be driving them in no time. We also spent some time at the zoo this morning and the animals were quite impressive. Jack insisted on walking most of the time ( which amounted to about 2 miles, I swear!!) and had a ball. It is so fun to watch him learn and explore and be so excited about everything we do. It truly makes the journey of parenthood worth every sleepless night!!
