We spent a beautiful weekend outdoors, of course!!! We visited my grandmother for her birthday and Jack got to run around on the farm with his Pa. He was actually a little tentative around the tractors, which we read about EVERY single night, so I was a bit surprised. He eased into it though, and will be driving them in no time. We also spent some time at the zoo this morning and the animals were quite impressive. Jack insisted on walking most of the time ( which amounted to about 2 miles, I swear!!) and had a ball. It is so fun to watch him learn and explore and be so excited about everything we do. It truly makes the journey of parenthood worth every sleepless night!!

these pix are amazing!!! when i look at jack walking in the field of grass, i think back to when we went wine tasting and had a picnic at your dad's farm. jack was only about 4 months old, right? great animal photos, too. too funny that ole' lettuce eating chimp! xo gah gah me
